A message from Commodore Paul Doherty
As the old adage says, life can change in the blink of an eye and that has certainly come to pass.
Life as we know it will be very different and we must take into account that this new reality could last for six to twelve months. Any plans we may have had must now be put on hold and all our efforts in the short to medium term must be directed to ensure the survival of our great club. As the months ahead pass we will have ample time to reflect on what is important to us and I’m sure the things we will most look forward to when we return to our old normal, will involve family and friends. Family and friends are at the very core of what the Royal Victorian Motor Yacht Club is all about. Having it to come back to will I’m sure be very important to us all.
I want to take this opportunity to assure members that the Committee will be working hard to keep the club active in your lives in any way we can contrive during this emergency. Whatever we implement will be in the interests of the club and it’s wonderful members. We are creating a new take away menu, where you can sup on your favourite meal and suck on a cold tap beer. See below and click on the link to order what you need.
